Summer thyme

Or so I thought when I took this picture.

Has anyone else put the heating back on in the evening?

  1. No - but we lit the log burner. Ridiculous for this thyme of year.

  2. our little flat is north-facing and cold so the heating goes on an off anyway. but i haven't noticed a particular drop in temp. today it's 16C in Devon, so hopefully warmth returns to us all!

  6. Oh, it's definitely summer time here -- in fact, we've had our water restrictions bumped up to the next level thanks to a drought -- and normally, we border on rainforest! Hope you catch some of that heat soon. . .

  9. Re: Your comment in my blog... "My reading is very haphazard as I don't know what a 'reader' is."

I don't use a "Reader" to find new posts, on the blogs I read, either. I have a private blog.... With those blogs listed.... And using a Blogger Gadget, it shows when bloggers have posted a new-to-me post. Which I find the simplest way to do this. :-)

  10. Hot in Edinburgh too. 22C but felt much hotter because it was sunny with no wind.

  11. Lucille, I actually took my winter down-filled coat to the dry cleaner yesterday. Even so, it's still not really hot here in New York yet.

Any overnight heating of this apartment depends on the landlord's generosity. Once June begins, there's no legal requirement.
